The Year of the Beyonce’/ Girls Love Beyonce’

You literally have no excuse to not know that this year belongs to  Beyonce’. No even if you’re from space. Unacceptable. Beyonce’ is literally taking over the world. She began by singing the national anthem at President Obama’s inauguration in January. Then, we all saw the unforgettable, sensational Super Bowl Performance which was an outer body experience  for me personally. Short after the Super Bowl she announced her offical tour (which kicked off today if you somehow don’t follow Beyonce on instagram, formally known as baddiebee, The Mrs.Carter World Tour, which of course…sold out in record time. She’s also in the running for most consecutive covers in a year. ( I made this up, but this should be a real thing) So far she’s graced Vogue, Spanish Vogue, The Gentlewoman, GQ, and Shape covers this year. Of course, she took home a Grammy. A grammy is to Beyonce’ what music is to Beethoven. She also brought home a $50 million dollar pepsi deal. As well as premiered, directed, produced, and starred in her own documentary entitled , “Life is But a Dream”. She also was recently announced the face for H&M. To top it all off, she got Houston trill on us and released a song/opera/rap that shook up the game and rocked my world. It’s safe to say…..King Beyonce’ for overlord. Check out her amazing year through pictures and videos below.

Also the inspiration for the post is in honor of Drizzy’s releasing of a song called “Girls Love Beyonce'” Do Right And Kill Everything spoke honestly and sang another ballot on a trill beat that’s easy to vibe to. Even he had to recognize greatness. Say that name Papi.

2013 Grammy Awards Recap

Last night was more than incredible, and nothing less of exceptional. It can be confirmed and is so very certain that Music has made a comeback. Real music, excuse me. There’s so much to be recapped from last night, from JLO’s leg putting everyone to shame, making Drizzy and even JayZ sweat, to the PHENOMENAL performances by all. Everyone looked amazing, everyone was awesome, everything was awesome. 2013 is the shit. Snaps for all. Everyone is off to a great year.

Double Up Drizzy: “Take Care” vs “HYFR” Videos released.

Drake Has released two long awaited videos! They were worth the wait. Don’t drizz on yourself ladies (pun fully intended.)

“Take Care” is beautifully crafted in intimacy. A love story we all can relate to and feel down to earth about.

Drake ~ Take Care Feat. Rihanna from OctobersVeryOwn on Vimeo.

Hell Yeah F*cking Right is still personal, Party Personal. Drake decided to get in touch with his Jewish roots. I’ve personally never been to one, but if this is real life, this looked like one hell of a Bat Mitzvah! With a pretty dope guest list. Mazel Tov

The Experience: Drake’s Club Paradise Tour

Now If You haven’t heard Drake’s “Take Care” album, you cannot possibly be a homosapien.

The album itself was highly praised by fans, and strongly anticipated among arrival. Even with an early unauthorized leak, the album managed to top the iTunes chart on its official release. Soon thereafter, Drake released his “Club Paradise” tour dates with special guests A$AP Rocky, as well as Compton native Kendrick Lamar.

3 hours of pure musical intercourse. Drake delivered. Kendrick killed. A$AP abolished.

This was a simple “you had to be there” moment. Love or Hate Drake, there is no way you walk away from this concert without feeding him the energy he lives for. Drake is a raw artist in the purist form.

Fortunately for you hermits, Drake still has tickets on sale for those of you who have already missed out. Don’t be un-american. Do yourself a favor.
